Hi I'm Susan

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a daughter, a sister, an aunt, a great aunt, a friend. I love and enjoy people. I've been a retiree since 2002 from the Church Headquarters of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where I worked in computers for 22 years. I live in the South now to be closer to my mother so I can help her as needed. I'm a convert to the church having joined it in Scarsdale, New York in 1975 and it was the best decision I have ever made. The restored gospel is true and it is something I wanted to have in my life. I am blessed daily by our Heavenly Father and the joy that comes from living the gospel.

Why I am a Mormon

I felt something was missing in my life as a late twenty something year old. I didn't know what it was. When the missionaries contacted me and asked if they could teach me the gospel I said yes. Slowly, gradually I knew I had found something precious. I wanted to be a Mormon and associate with those members who were so good, so unlike the world, and yet so all knowing, bright, happy and cheerful. The Holy Ghost guided me through the conversion process one step at a time until I knew I could live the gospel and accept baptism. The restored gospel of Jesus Christ is a wealth of knowledge and a great blessing in my life. I am always learning more and helping my ancestors through genealogy and temple work have the opportunity to accept the restored gospel.

How I live my faith

I've had many choice opportunities to grow in the gospel through church service and through scripture study, prayer, church and temple attendance. Living the gospel is a way of life. It's doing what is right. It's learning what to do and following the spirit through the gift of the Holy Ghost.
