Hi I'm Pani

I'm a dad & husband. I manage an international company, and lead a busy life. I believe in Jesus Christ. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm married and have 3 children. I have a fantastic job and I'm studying for a university degree along side work and church responsibilities. I speak French having lived in France for 2 years as a volunteer for my church, a language which I frequently use in my business life. I spend my free time with my family during weekends, assisting in a youth group, taking one of my children to karate lessons and spending time on our family's garden allotment a few miles from home where we keep chickens and grow vegetables and fruit. We are a busy family, and its a struggle to balance everything that is important - but I'm working on it!

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I believe that God still speaks to people on the earth through prophets and through personal revelation, like he has done in the past, and this church views this doctrine as very important. I have had many experiences that have shown me that this church is Christ's church. These experiences have come through asking God. God speaks to everyone who asks - I know that is true. Every question I had about God and Jesus Christ has been answered by the doctrine of this church. There isn't anything ambiguous in the church's teachings. I'm of an analytical mind and therefore do look for coherent information when trying to make a decision and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints does this for me, and invites everyone to ask God for confirmation that the teachings of the church are true.

How I live my faith

If you believe in something, then it should become a holistic part of your life. Living my faith doesn't revolve around a Sunday only, and for me should be a part of every day life. Although Sunday is an important part of being a member of this church, and is probably the busiest day of the week for me, it is what I choose to do outside of the chapel that is actually important: decisions around my family life and how I choose to act when nobody is watching.

How can we increase our faith in Jesus Christ?

We show our faith in Jesus Christ by living by the teachings and commandments we read in the Bible. When we keep those commandments our faith increases as we grow closer to Christ. Show more Show less
