Hi I'm Chad

I grew up in Mississippi. I'm a gamer, programmer, avid reader, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a computer nerd, I play Tuba, I play WOW World of Warcraft, I love to skim board, play air soft, kayak, or just hang out with friends.

Why I am a Mormon

Because I prayed and asked God about the church and the spirit witnessed to me that it's his one true church. There is a Prophet, twelve Apostles, and Gods authority/power to do his work on Earth contained within.

How I live my faith

I'm currently serving the Lord on a two year mission in which I've left behind all other things and serve 24/7. I don't work or go to school during this time, and I've saved enough prier to this to support my self through the mission, but the most important important way that I live my faith is through who I am and always trying to be and example of what the Savior has asked of us.

What are Mormon Temples used for?

God has always commanded for temples to be built in the Old Testament he commanded Solomon to build a temple -1 Chronicles 22 6, and the Savior visited the temple daily before his death on the cross. Temples are the Lord's house and in them his work is done, such as baptisms for the dead in which we can be baptized in place for those that have passed away -1 Corinthians 15 29 and they can choose whether or not to except the baptism. Since we know that it is necessary to be baptized born by water and the spirit to enter into the kingdom of God -ST John 3 5 this shows God's great love and mercy for all his children. In the temples we can be bound together as family's not just "till death do you part", but for time and all eternity -Matthew 16 19 -1 Corinthians 11 11 -Mark 10 9. In short in the Temples we are able to be sealed together as family's on Earth as well as in Heaven, which includes being sealed to God as our father as well -Romans 8 16,17.  Show more Show less
