Hi I'm Cameron Marks

I'm a Mormon and i am a Southern California boy

About Me

well iam 21 i have grown up in the church.and in California all my life i live in a city called Fontana.no one really nows where it is. so its ok if you don't.Im the baby in my family of one brother and one sister both older and i love both of them so very much along with there spouses. and there 2 beautiful little girls(my nieces). i love airsoft i played high school water polo all 4 years and was on the swim team for 3,love video games to much, watching movies is my favorite thing to do any kind of movie. Before i left on my mission i worked as a life guard and i loved it, anything to do with the water i love it. i also love to help people no matter what it is. When i get done with my mission i hope to go back to school and then maybe become a police officer. well thats me in a nut shell. a big nut shell

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church. but I have had to find out what it is all about for myself. one thing that I love about this church is its support of families. my family is the biggest thing in my life and it always will be. This church teaches the importance of families in everyday life, with a loving family you can create a good interment for the holy ghost to dwell in. I have felt the holy Ghost many times in my life but I never really noticed it until I got older and learned how to truly understand what it is and how it works.   the Holy Ghost can tell us what is right what is wrong and help us to stay way form things that would harm us or damage our lives. and i am thankful for being able to have the holy ghost with me at all times. and i have learned the no 20 year old missionary can't convince anyone of the true gospel only the holy ghost can do that. and people have to be willing to listen for its answer.A short time ago i was in a very dark place i lied and cheated to get by i had my own addictions and sins, I turned my back on my savior i knew what i was doing was bad, but i never understood why i shouldn't have done what i did. but i know that Christ is my savior and Redeemer and without the love and forgiveness that only he can give i wouldn't be where iam at today i wouldn't be on a mission i wouldn't have the wonderful family that i have and i wouldn't have the hope that comes with being a member of the church of Jesus Christ of latter day saints Temples are Awesome

How I live my faith

i live my life according to the teachings of the church and have found that it has kept me from falling into things that would harm me and my loved ones. There is only 2 things that are really big in my life one is this church and its teaching. and secound my family. and they both meet everyday and are together all my life. I am thankful for the chance i have each week to go to church and be able to feel the Holy Ghost telling me its true and that I am just where heavenly Father wants me to be.  the biggest way that I have lived my Faith is by serving a full 2 year mission in minnesota and now i am on my way to live the rest of my life.
