Hi I'm Susan

I'm a mother through the miracles of modern medicine, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a statistician/computer programmer who now stays home to raise my children. I enjoyed working on clinical trials, working to find cures for cancer, HIV, and other diseases. But my greatest fulfillment comes from watching my little ones learn and grow every day. Because of them I am finally learning to appreciate homemaking skills such as cooking, cleaning, sewing and other crafts as more than just chores.

Why I am a Mormon

Living the gospel of Jesus Christ helps me be the best wife, mother, sister, daughter, friend, neighbor, citizen that I can be. Because I know where I came from and where I am going, I am able to make decisions that will allow me to live with my Father in Heaven once again. I know that we are all brothers and sisters, children of our Heavenly Father. I know that I have an eternal family and can live with them forever. I know Jesus Christ lives and loves all of us.

How I live my faith

I work with the children aged 18 months to 12 years. I take attendance every Sunday, with particular attention to children who we have not seen in a while or who may be sick. I keep track of birthdays and other special events, and help the teachers and other leaders who also work with these children with whatever they need.
