Hi I'm Nancy

I'm a wife, mom, love color and design, enjoy a good laugh. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife and the mother of two sons. I was fortunate to stay home with my children when they were younger. I have a degree in Interior Design which I have put to use periodically throughout my life helping others have a better, more peaceful home environment in which to live in. I love making quilts - just a small way to put color and design into use!

Why I am a Mormon

I joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints when I was in high school. As a teen I was trying to figure out what I wanted to do with my life. I had lots of questions and actually felt overwhelmed with all of the decisions I was facing. My friend invited me to her home to hear LDS missionaries explain her church. Since her family were the nicest people and had great values I agreed to hear what the missionaries had to say. I was surprised when the missionaries explained that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints was organized by Jesus Christ himself and that there is a prophet on the earth today. I was so grateful to know that Heavenly Father still speaks to us today and has not forgotten us.

How I live my faith

Each day is a new day for me of trying to be a better person than the previous day! Scripture study and prayer give me perspective and allow little flashes of inspiration for what I am to be doing during the day. Being conscious of others needs around me and trying to assist them is one of the best ways to live my faith. Lately, I have been trying to stop judging others - this is a work in progress!

How can I know Mormonism is true?

Do as I did - ask a member of the Church about it, read the scriptures, get on your knees and ask Father in Heaven. You have to be very, very sincere in wanting to know if the Church is true or not. If you feel a warm sensation inside of you - that is the Holy Ghost witnessing to you, "Yes!" Show more Show less
