Hi I'm Alisha

I'm an artist, and a dreamer. I love to sing and dance, often at the same time. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I just exited the teen years and I am loving life. I attend college and my major is Art Education with a minor in multimedia and business teaching. I just got a new job and I work as a graphic artist on campus. I also plan the student activities at my college which pays for my school. One fun event I planned this year was Mud Volleyball which was pretty dirty to say the least haha I had dirt in my ears by the time I was done! D I haven't found the man of my dreams quite yet so I'm living the exciting life of a young single adult. I'm getting my associates degree next semester and I'm not sure if I should stay at this college or not. Although I'm not exactly sure what my future looks like I don't really worry because I know Heavenly Father has a plan for me and He knows exactly what I am doing.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that I am a daughter of God and I know that Jesus Christ is my Savior. I know that, and I reminded of the truthfulness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ everyday in the beauty of the sunset as I drive home from work, in my sweet nephew's big smile, and the blessing of having a mother that loves and cares for me. I know that's the Lord's hand. I am a Mormon because the Holy Ghost has confirmed to me that the church is true and I know that and I want to show Heavenly Father I love him by keeping his commandments.

How I live my faith

I try my best to live my faith everyday although I know I am not perfect and I fall short. I live my faith by first by praying and reading the scriptures and then acting on what I know to be true. I believe that faith is isn't a passive thing, I believe if you have faith you have got to get up and do something about it. I love to share gospel with others and to share my love of my Savior and what he has done for me and for everyone. I try to follow His words and the council of our prophets and apostles in every situation. At college, on the job, in my neighborhood I try to be a disciple of Christ by serving and loving others and not ever lowering my standards. I am in charge of the activities for my Young Single Adult ward and we try plan fun things that will strengthen testimonies and build relationships. I love being able to come together as young adults to feel the spirit and have a great time. Some of our most memorable have been our 80's dance, cleaning and helping our neighbors yards in the spring time, and seeing the Christmas lights in SLC. I love serving in my ward, I strive to be an instrument in the Lord's hand by bringing others unto Christ.
