Hi I'm Leanne

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Youngest of 7 children, married, I have a 2 year old daughter, life is just starting!!

Why I am a Mormon

By CHOICE! I grew up in a home where both my parents were members of the gospel. Some may say that being raised in a family where you had it surrounding your life might be easy. That is simply not true. Shortly after high school and into my first years of college I choose to discontinue on the church path. For a good period of time I felt as though I had more freedom. Sadly, I didn't realize that these new found freedoms, in which I felt, were only temporary and my spirit began to die. I found myself trying new things, being more adventurous, and even feeling bolder than in years before. This boldness soon faded and left me with nothing. These freedoms that I thought I had seemed to bind me and leave me in a place where I did not want to be. I felt alone, sadness, frustration why everyone else so “chipper” and “happy”. My parents are strong believers in choice they wanted me to truly find answers, my own answers, since this is what they had done. I will never forget asking my mother about why, why she choose to follow the Mormon faith. Her answer to me was simple, "It gave me freedom". At the time I couldn't believe what I was hearing, I couldn't believe it, my mother found freedom? How could this be? The explanation was even greater, which you can find in the scriptures, Mosiah 58 reads, "And under this head ye are made free, and there is no other head whereby ye can be made free. There is not other name given whereby salvation cometh therefore, I would that ye should take upon you the name of Christ, all you that have entered into the covenant with God that ye should be obedient unto the end of your lives." Study the scriptures, they are true, and in studying you will find the answers that you are looking for, you will find what you desire, you will find Christ and all his happiness that he as to offer, and most important you will find your freedom.

How I live my faith

Each day at work I try my hardest to stand as a witness, this doesn't have to be something hard, just being an example does show to others that you are a follower of Christ.
