Hi I'm Bob

I'm a financial planner, husband, father & grandfather, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Connecticut, the oldest of three children. I grew up with my grandparents and many cousins, uncles and aunts nearby. My family has always meant a lot to me. I'm married with four children and four grandchildren. I enjoy the time we have to spend together and it's been a great blessing watching our family grow these last few years. I love spending time out on the lake with family and friends as well as camping and biking. I enjoy working with people and helping to solve their financial problems as we work towards helping them achieve their goals.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up Catholic and my mother ensured we made it to church each week where I started to build a good foundation of religious understanding. I began searching for more answers during my teenage years and was able to get many of my questions answered as I started researching and attending events with my Mormon friends. Finally, I moved beyond just the social events, dances, and camp outs and began reading the Book of Mormon and meeting with the missionaries. I love the focus of the family that the Church emphasizes. I love the fact that the LDS Church has the same structure and organization of the Church that Jesus Christ established while here on earth. The Priesthood power is real and blesses us in so many ways. The Restoration of the Priesthood and the Church organization today have been a great blessing to me individually as well as for my family.

How I live my faith

I've served in many different capacities since joining the Church and they have all provided special learning and growing experiences. Currently, I am serving as the 1st Counselor to our Bishop in our congregation. I have received great blessings from this and have been uplifted by the willingness of those around me to sacrifice the time and utilize the talents they have been provided. I'm grateful for the opportunities to serve and the ability to exercise the Priesthood authority in blessing others.
