Hi I'm Carolyn

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy exercising, trying new foods, and keeping organized as much as possible! I love my husband and children and have enjoyed a great life.

Why I am a Mormon

Belonging to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has brought me such deep joy and serenity as I understand where I came from, why I am here, and where I will go after this life. Every person has the opportunity for him or herself to learn the truth. A past prophet of our church, Gordon B. Hinckley, said this "Our critics cannot understand it. Because they do not understand, they attack. A quiet inquiry, an anxious desire to grasp the principle behind the result, could bring greater understanding and appreciation" see the May 2001 Ensign, p. 68. Humility and faith can bring answers to us from our Heavenly Father.

How I live my faith

I arise early to pray to my Heavenly Father because I want to thank Him, to feel His love, and to receive His help. I love spending time in the scriptures. I try to pay attention all day long to the quiet whisperings and feelings from the Holy Ghost. Members of the Church believe they can receive the gift of the Holy Ghost after the ordinance of baptism. If we worthily partake of the sacrament every Sunday and try to have faith in Jesus Christ and repent when we err during the week we can continue to receive this special gift.

How can faith in Jesus Christ influence us in our marriages and family relationships? in our friendships?

Carolyn
Jesus Christ is the only perfect child of our Heavenly Father. His love for His Father and for us has been perfect too. If we strive to be like Him and daily earnestly pray to be filled with His love we will naturally have more success in loving our spouse and children. To have those moments of possessing His love has brought great joy and satisfaction to me. Show more Show less
