Hi I'm Charlton

I'm a pretty cool guy, biomedical science graduate and I'm a mormon.

About Me

I am a biomedical science graduate and absolutely love it. I have served a 2 year mission in Perth, Western Australia. The skills I learnt serving as a missionary and living my religion have helped in all aspects of my life. I love to play sport, body board, snowboard and just hang out with mates.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church, learning alot as a child. However there did come a time where I questioned, is this really true, is this what God wants me to do. It wasn't always easy being a mormon and so I came to a point where I wondered, is this what God really wants for me. It was at that point in my late teen's that I prayed, to know for myself what I needed to do and if it was really true. I know that it is true. I have deep understanding of the role of family in the plan of our loving Heavenly Father. I know that families are forever.

How I live my faith

I have seen the great things living by this faith has done for me and my family. So I decided to serve a mission and served in Western Australia. I had the opportunity to go around sharing our message, a special message that is fully focused on Jesus Christ, to everyone! Living my faith after my mission includes helping others when in need and doing the basics of prayer and scripture study daily. Living my faith has also taught me to stand up for things that I believe in and not waver on the standards that I have set myself. It has helped me to become a better person in general.

How are the activities of the Mormon missionaries funded?

Charlton
Most missionaries are young and serve missions for 18-24 months. We pay for our missions ourselves. We as missionaries or our families save up enough money before we leave to be able to pay for all our expenses over the time we spend on our mission. It's not something we take lightly. We come out on missions to share a message about Jesus Christ and what He has done for us. Show more Show less
