Hi I'm Marné

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the Mormon that you would expect to meet I am a young mom at home with my two kids- soon to be 3! - and I am happy to be there.

Why I am a Mormon

My family on both sides is Mormon and has been for generations. But when I looked at marriage and starting my own family, I knew it was my choice to decide how we would raise our children. I chose to continue teaching my children the things I was taught as a child. There is a lot of uncertainty in the world, but the Mormon church and its teachings are one thing that I know I can count on to be happy and bring me and my family peace and joy that will last forever.

How I live my faith

I serve in the church women's organization and try to reach out to make sure everyone who attends church feels included every week, and that we have lessons ready each Sunday. I also play the organ several times a month, which is always an adventure, since technically I am a trained pianist - which doesn't involve feet.

In whom should we have faith?

Marné
The most important beings we can have faith in are Heavenly Father and his Son, Jesus Christ. The church helps us come to know who these members of the Godhead are, and their true natures - that they are loving and merciful and want us to be able to come back and live with them again. By understanding how much love they have for each of us, we are able to trust them, and as we trust them more and more, our faith in them grows. Show more Show less
