Hi I'm Aaron

I grew up in Utah valley. I was a driver for many years. I am currently a stay at home dad in N.C., and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently a stay at home dad. with my 4 month old, and 7 year old. I have been married to my Bride Bonnie for going on 11 years.I have worked construction for half of my carreer, and have been a driver until current. I love being outdoors, and sharing this time with my family and friends. Furthermore I love cars researching them, and sometimes even buying and selling. I also collect playing cards. Most of all I write poetry whenever prompted.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been so blessed to have been brought up in the Church of Jesus Christ of Ladder Day Saints. Though experienced many small conversions very young. It was when I was a teenager that I was hit hard. Driving back to a party from a grocery store. My friends, and I were pumped up to get back. While driving I heard a voice. Go home. The voice said. Looking around the vehicle to see if anyone else had some how heard this voice. It came again. I almost argued with the voice in my head, but soon told friends I was leaving. At home I sat in my usual spot in the front room window looking at the mountains. 30 minutes went by. Then an hour. I was beyond bored. Finally I picked up the phone and called the party house. No one answered. I called and called. Until a girlfriend had answered. She was frantic. What did you do? She asked. I had no idea what she was talking about. She then explained that shortly after I had gone. Some gang members showed up, and pulled guns on my friends. Asking where Aaron was? This one event changed so much of what I believed. I was so humbled that God recognized this lowly teen. God does live. Jesus is our brother, and the Holy Ghost is most definitely real. I know Joseph Smith is a prophet. I also know that President Monson is a prophet sent and prepared by God to lead us. I know that we can all have a personal relationship with God, and as long as we follow his commandments. The Holy Ghost will prompt us. Guiding us back to our heavenly family.

How I live my faith

I now reside in N.C. with my Bride Bonnie and 2 children. One of the biggest reasons for me to move from Utah was to be able to work closely with our missionaries. We go to church sundays, serve all the people around us, and build our family by living the guidlines that are councelled by our prophet and local LDS leaders.
