Hi I'm Joe

..and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a father of two wonderful girls, a husband to a beautiful and talented wife, a Physician Assistant by profession and a son of God. I have many interests including photography, cycling, reading...but most of all I enjoy family time. I am a Mormon, I have been since 1998.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon for one simple reason, the The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is true! I joined the Church when I was 19 years old. I was at a crossroad in my life and in retrospect I recognize that the Spirit of the Lord led me down the path to the people that introduced me to the Church. Thirteen years later, I often forget that there was a period in my life that I did not know the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It has become apart of me, it is present in every facet of my life, it influences every decision I make, there is not a day that goes by that the teachings of Jesus Christ, his Atonement, and the blessings of this Gospel don't inspire me. Simply said, I am who I am now because I'm Mormon, and life is good!

How I live my faith

Faith is so important as we are all imperfect! Faith motivates me to attend Church each week and participate in various "callings" or assignments in my congregation. It helps me to be a better father and husband as my faith gives my life and relationships eternal meaning so that when temptations are present it is easier to resist. Most importantly my faith lifts me up when I have fallen to temptations or made poor choices. It helps me to repent, it reminds me that I have a loving Father in Heaven that is kind, patient and forgiving. I am able live my faith through acts of kindness, patience and charity because during those moments I am remembering God, his son Jesus Christ and their plan of happiness for each of us.
