Hi I'm Georgia!

I'm a student. I'm a Kansan. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I am currently a college student and a wife. My husband and I were sealed in the Albuquerque New Mexico temple. I am studying Elementary education and have a minor in Spanish. I will graduate in May 2014. I love to paint, craft and cook. I like to watch sports and play games. I also love to travel and spend time with my family!

Why I am a Mormon

Although I was born into the church and my family raised me to be LDS, they are not active now. Even though I struggle with that sadness it brings me, it has helped me depart from my parents and peers to develop my own testimony of the true gospel. When I was finding out for myself, I found the standards easy to live and the Church made me much happier. I also knew that the standards that it teaches are ones that are important to me and ones that I want to instill into my own children (someday).

How I live my faith

I live my faith by actively attending my church meetings, filling my callings, and providing service to others when I can. Since I am very busy working, going to school, and being a wife, I always try my best to be an example to others no matter where I am or what I am doing. I have no problem telling someone "no, I do not participate in those activities", and often times this response creates missionary opportunities. I know that living the principals of the gospel are rewarding and can bless you in many ways.
