Hi I'm Joel

I'm a Railroad Signal Maintainer. I served a Church mission in Panama and Costa Rica from 1984-1986. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been married for 25 years and we have 3 teenage children. I work as a Signal Maintainer on a railroad. I enjoy working around the house, cutting wood, a little fishing, and when the kids are gone I'll enjoy riding motorcycles again. I also prize my time of going to church and serving my brothers and sisters at every opportunity.

Why I am a Mormon

I joined the Church with the rest of my family when I was 11. I remember being happy when I turned 12 because then I would get to do something at church. I have always found that serving people keeps my faith active and strong. I have had many experiences in my life that have confirmed to me the fact that my Heavenly Father actively works on my behalf. I know the Book of Mormon is true and the Priesthood is real. I am grateful to have an anchor in life that is steady and does not move with the ever changing beliefs of the world around me.

How I live my faith

I enjoy teaching the gospel to anyone who will engage in conversation. I have been greatly blessed by the Lord as I have lived the Law of Tithing. My testimony of the Lord Jesus Christ has grown over the years as I have recognized the blessings that have come into my life by being obedient to His commandments. I am greatful for the peace I enjoy through studying the scriptures. I strive each day to live as I profess to believe.
