Hi I'm Corey

I am a military wife, homeschooling mom, and lover of laughter. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love good food. Any kind of good food. I love to cook good food and love to have friends and family over for dinner. The best conversations I've had with others have been at the dinner table.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of His church because I love my Savior. I am so grateful for the love and peace He brings into my life. At times when my husband has been deployed, I have relied heavily on the strength of my Savior to get through our separation. I am grateful for the knowledge that families can be together forever and that He made it possible.

How I live my faith

I am trying to live my faith by serving those around me. With my children we deliver meals to the elderly a few times a month and always look for other opportunities to help. Whether it is holding the door for someone else, raking leaves, taking a meal to someone who needs it, or just being a good listener, I try to do what I can and teach my children to do the same. The Savior served others his whole life, and I am striving to follow his example.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

Members of the Mormon Church try to help all around them. Most of the people that are helped by the Church in particular and not members. Our church has tried to help people around the world by giving humanitarian aid and other assistance. Joseph Smith taught us that we are "to feed the hungry, to clothe the naked, to provide for the widow, to dry up the tear of the orphan, to comfort the afflicted, whether in this church, or in any other, or in no church at all."
