Hi I'm Ken

and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My wife and I have four terrific children. I like to listen to music and play duets on the piano with my wife. I enjoy books and movies, particularly those with deep meaning that make it fun to re-examine frequently in order to fully appreciate their messages. In my profession, I work as a chemist. Over the course of my career with a well-known manufacturer, I've been fascinated by the vast number of technologies and related scientific phenomena that I have been able to learn. For recreation, I pursue tennis, biking, and cross-country skiing.

Why I am a Mormon

My mother has been a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints all of her life. She has always been an example of faith to me, my siblings, and my father, who converted to the Church many years after my parents were married. Because of their example, I practiced the precepts taught in the Latter-day Saint faith and found out for myself that those teachings are true. Most important to me is the teaching that our families, both the one into which I was born and the one which I have fathered, can live together eternally. I want that more than anything, as I know of the joy that such a promise brings.

How I live my faith

My greatest devotion is to my wife and children. I try to be the best example I can and am willing to make sacrifices for their welfare. We also try to serve those around us, doing good deeds for neighbors, befriending those who would benefit from a kind word, and participating in projects that benefit the community. I also serve in Church leadership, teaching on a regular basis in Church meetings, providing training to others in their service, and visiting and counseling with others where needs arise.
