Hi I'm Tyler

I'm a husband, father, medical student, Army veteran, and a swimmer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a fourth year medical student in Arizona hoping to do Emergency Medicine. I spent a year in Iraq as an Army medic. Now I love every moment I have with my family. I love my two girls; together we work in the yard and garden, build things in the garage, read, go on bike rides and have adventures. All of which is made possible by my lovely wife. Life is good. I am happy.

Why I am a Mormon

I've chosen to be a member of this church because it teaches and follows the whole Gospel/doctrine of Jesus Christ and it has God's priesthood authority. I find great happiness and peace in being a member. I love studying the Bible and Book of Mormon, they strengthen my relationship with my Heavenly Father, and teach me how He can be involved in my life. I have prayed about the truth of the Book of Mormon and I have learned it is true for myself from the Holy Ghost. I know Jesus lives and leads this, His church; and through His grace I can do anything He asks of me. I know Joseph Smith was a modern prophet, just as Moses or Elijah was in biblical times. I know Joseph Smith saw and spoke with the Father and Jesus in answer to his prayer. The Church and its members have been a great support for me and my family during times of hardship; likewise, some of our most precious memories are times when we have given service to those in need. The Church helps us find opportunities to serve. As a father, one of the greatest blessings of my membership is having a safe, wholesome place to take my children to learn about the important things in life. Jesus loves little children, and I feel His love for my children when I hear about their experiences at church.

How I live my faith

Right now my wife and I teach the Nursery class, which is the best job or calling in the Church. In my class are children ages 18 months to 3 years old. So, I get to play, sing, draw, have snack, and teach a short lesson to these great kids. I really love going to Church.
