Hi I'm Emily

I am feeding and teaching the next generation one dinner at a time. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I am a mother of 3 small children. I love cooking more than any activity on earth. I also love sharing that food with family and friends. My friends tell me I am a "feeder." I like to rollerblade, run, and ride bikes with my kids. I also love movies and popcorn!

Why I am a Mormon

Why I am a Mormon is because my own Mother was converted to the church in her early 20's. Because of loving and supportive church members, I grew up knowing that living the principles of Jesus Christ would help me make right choices. I have always felt a security and comfort knowing who I am and where I come from. When the hard times come, I can always rely on God and my Savior to lift me up!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying each day to be the kind of person that I want to be. I am not perfect, but I am always trying! My children are my teachers mostly. They are loving, quick to forgive, and full of life. My husband and I teach 12, 3 year-olds on Sunday! We sing, color, and talk. I have 2 friends in my neighborhood that my friend and I visit monthly. We try to share an uplifting message or thought when we go. Since I love cooking, whenever I make goodies or extra dinner, I find those in my neighborhood that may need help.

What are Mormon women like? Do Mormons believe in equality of men and women?

I believe that Mormon women have the responsibility to be strong and courageous! We are at the protectors of the family! I have always felt that without the woman the man has no power. And vise versa! Together men and women are needed with our distinct qualities to lead the next generation to be great! Show more Show less
