Hi I'm Mary,

I love to travel. I'm Canadian. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the youngest of 4 girls and I graduated high school in 2010, then did two semesters at BYU-Hawaii. It was really hard the first few weeks to be away from home for the first time, but it ended up being one of the most amazing experiences I've ever had! Then I came home, and moved to Southern Alberta to live with my grandparents and work as a front desk agent in the most beautiful national park! Then I moved to Israel, where I participated in the BYU-Jerusalem study abroad program, and I'm loving every minute of it! Then in May I am moving to Mexico for 3 months to teach English to children with ILP. I love to travel and I feel so blessed to have had all the experiences and opporunities to do everything that I have done! Some more things I am planning on doing are volunteering in an orphange in Ecuador, helping with a humanitarian project in Kenya, doing ILP in Thailand, doing interior decorarting in Eastern Canada, working in Australia, ect! I love finding opportunities to go new places, but also be able to serve and be educated while I am there!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised a member of the church, and have been taught the gospel by amazing parents, sunday school teachers, YW leaders and seminary teachers. I have always known the church to be true, but I don't think I ever fully and completely gained by own testimony until I left home to go to BYU-Hawaii. I had some experiences there that really strengthened my testimony and faith in God, and I know without a doubt in the world that this is the true church and Jesus Christ did suffer and die for us, that he atoned for our sins because He loves us! I have felt thepower of the atonement in my own life and it is the sweetest feeling in the world, and I am so grateful that I was born into this church! I know that Thomas S. Monson is a prophet of God, I know the Book of Mormon is true, I know that Heavenly Father loves me and cares about all of his children equally, and that he will never leave us, as long as we humble ourselves before him and have faith in him! Our futures are as bright as our faith!

How I live my faith

I was the ward chorister in my byu-hawaii ward, and then over the summer when I was in my homeward, I helped out in nursery, & I was the relief society chorister in Jerusalem.
