Hi I'm Barry

I am a Latter-day Saint and I love the gospel of Jesus Christ.

About Me

I am a husband, a dad, and a grandpa.

Why I am a Mormon

I was ask to read the Book of Mormon and to pray about the truthfulness of its contents. As I took on this challenge, the the Lord made it known to me thru the Holy Ghost. The Book of Mormon is TRUE. This is the restored church of Jesus Christ once again upon the earth today.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending church meetings and sharing the gospel with everyone I meet. I teach Gospel Principles and enjoy helping others to learn of the gospel, and I also enjoy being in the service of others.

How can we increase our faith in Jesus Christ?

By making a conscience effort each day for prayer and scripture reading, the Lord will bless us with knowledge and testimony of truth by way of the spirit.   Show more Show less

Why don’t Mormons drink coffee, tea, or alcohol? What is the Mormon Church’s law of health and proper diet?

These things have substances that are harmful to the body and soul. Example, coffee and tea contain tannic acid that is used to preserve animal skins. Mormon's refrain from the use of these products as well as anything that is habit forming and harmful to the body. Alcohol and drugs distorts the mind and body and blocks the way of the Holy Spirit to be with you. Fruits, grains and veggies and water are good for the body. We should eat meat sparingly. Who better to know what is good for us than our creator.  Show more Show less
