Hi I'm Erin.

I grew up in a small town in Idaho. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a stay at home mom of five. I love being at home with my kids so I can see them grow up and do all the silly, funny things that kids do. I don't want to miss a minute of it. I volunteer to teach music at the local elementary school. I'm on the PTO. I am the Primary President - which means I am in charge of all the children from 18 months to 11 years old at church. I love to sing, and play the flute, and don't get to do either near as often as I'd like. I LOVE to anything crafty. Hand me a glue gun, some mod podge and scraps of anything, and I'll make something cute. I can sew, crochet, knit, paint, upcycle, wood work, etc. You name it, I've probably tried it. I have an insanely busy life, and I love it!!

Why I am a Mormon

I absolutely love this church. I grew up a member, but I go because I love the teachings, not because I don't know any better. Every week I go to church I feel the Spirit SO stong and I am reminded why I keep going. I am so grateful for the brotherhood and sisterhood in the church. I truly feel that we are all one great big family. It makes trials so much easier, knowing that I have sisters all around me who have gone through the same thing and that I can lean on them for help and understanding.

How I live my faith

I am a new Primary President, and I LOVE it! Hearing the childrens' faith every week is such a boost to my testimony. It's also good to hear the basics of our faith every week. The lessons we teach the children every Sunday are simple, yet powerful. As a family we have been trying to read the scriputres regularly. It doesn't always happen, but we are getting better.
