Hi I'm Ali.

I am some what new to the Church and I am Mormon!

About Me

I am the only member of my family in the church. I live in Washington State and am a former foster youth. I live with my grandma. I enjoy reading, walking, talking, helping others and Volunteering not in that order. I am part of the Camp To Belong Family. I have been blessed with 2 cats who think that they are dogs and a dog who thinks she is a cat. My dream is to start an organization that helps youth who are kicked out of the foster care system with a place to live.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon for many reasons. I love God and Jesus Christ with all of my heart and soul. I had looked for a church that I was able to spend my life living the Gospel with. When I started taking lessons, I was coming off of a VERY rough path and had all of my safety pulled apart. From the moment that I stepped into the building, I felt as though I was home. The thought came to me that I had been away from home for too long. My current Ward is like one BIG extended family. I read the Book of Mormon every day and thank God that he gave me the ability to experience the Book of Mormon. I now that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the true church that has been restored by Joseph Smith. I know in my heart that President Thomas S. Monson is the Living Prophet chosen by God!

How I live my faith

I live my faith in many ways. I always talk about the church and I am very open about it. I try not to work on Sundays, although sometimes it is not preventable. I volunteer in organizations like Camp to Belong. I help those who need help, sometimes with out them relizing it. I attend church whenI can and read the magazines Ensign and LDS Living. I have seen how God has had his hand in my life and that He knows what He is doing.
