Hi I'm Chase

I grew up in Arizona. I'm the father of nine. Not much time for anything else. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have nine kids, a loving wife, and no time to spare. I'm from Mesa, Arizona, but now live in the wet Seattle, Washington area where I work in sales for a large software company. I served a mission in Brazil, and still root for the national soccer / futebol team whenever they play. I love basketball, although these days I usually let my kids do all the running and jumping.

Why I am a Mormon

I believe in Jesus Christ. I believe that He was born of humble beginnings and grew up living a perfect life. I believe that He ministered to the sick, served the needy, performed miracles, and healed the broken hearts of His time, all the while teaching His gospel to all who would listen. As the only one who lived a perfect life, I believe He willingly elected to take upon Himself the sins of the world in the Garden of Gethsemane. I believe His suffering, so intense that He sweat great drops of blood, satisfied the demands of justice, and made way for those willing to repent to find mercy. A short while later, I believe He willing gave His life on the cross. I believe that three days later, He resurrected thus conquering death and providing the ability for us to do so as well. I believe Jesus did all this out of love, not just for those who lived in Jerusalem about 2000 years ago, but out of love for all who lived before and the billions who would live after Him. I believe He loves and knows each of us and wants us to be happy…happy now and happy in the future. I believe He wants nothing more than for us to return to live with Him and our Heavenly Father. My family is more important to me than anything else. I simply can’t imagine life without my wife and children, my parents and siblings, now or in the future. Nor can I conceive of a place deemed to be Heaven without my family there with me. I’m a Mormon because of my hope in Jesus Christ that I can be together with my family forever, long after this life is over. I believe it, I hope it, and I’ve bet my life on it.

How I live my faith

I'm involved with welfare service projects in our local area that range from arranging charitable donations to organizing food drives to conducting disaster relief. The best part of this service is being able to work side by side with my children in helping other people.
