Hi I'm Travis

I'm a husband to the beautiful mother of four pretty girls. I study retinal regeneration as a stem cell biologist. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm husband to a lady from Seattle and we are the parents of four daughters. I'm a scientist Ph.D. working on the development and regeneration of the retina. I'm not too bad at watercolors and photoshop. I like different kinds of music with melodies and play the piano and drums-different kinds. I like to mountain bike.

Why I am a Mormon

I've had many experiences in life that let me know that God cares who I am and what I am doing. He helps me be a better person and extends me forgiveness as I repent through the grace of His Son. I believe the Book of Mormon to be scripture from God's prophets and appreciate how the teachings of all the scriptures has helped me be happy in life and hope for the resurrection with my family in eternity.

How I live my faith

I am the head of our small congregation, the Bishop. I try to make sure that everyone feels the love of the Savior and is welcome and is able to help build up the community by living the Gospel. I try to teach from the scriptures. I and a friend visit people at their homes to help make sure that they are able to serve God, their families, and others so they can have joy.
