Hi I'm Lee

I am learning to love being a grandpa I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been married to my wife, Marjorie, for 31 years. We have 7 children, 4 girls and 3 boys, and 6 grandchildren. We raised our children on a small farm in south Idaho where we grow alfalfa, grain, cattle and children. I have enjoyed working side by side with my children as they grew up. Three are now married. In my spare time I enjoy hiking with my family in the mountains or on the desert. I also enjoy exploring caves and old mines and panning for gold. I haven't found the "mother load" yet. If I had I probably wouldn't tell you.

Why I am a Mormon

Through living the commandments and following the principles of the Gospel of Jesus Christ I have found happiness. The clean living and family oriented life style of being a Mormon has made it easier for me to avoid many of life's pitfalls. It has created an atmosphere for me to have a pleasant walk through life. In the course of trying to follow my savior, I have gained a deep love for him and an appreciation for the sacrifices he has made for me and those I love. I find comfort and joy in the plan our Heavenly Father has for us to be together forever as a family.

How I live my faith

I have been active in my church in many ways. I have worked with the youth and enjoyed many scouting and other activities with them. I have worked with the men of my church in various ways. We have had service projects to help clean yards, care for the sick, and help those who need help or encouragement. I enjoy teaching on Sundays when asked and, on occasion, preparing talks for our Sunday meetings. The most enjoyable way I have learned to live my faith is by being with and serving my family.
