Hi I'm Luke Johnson

I love longboarding, doing work in the gym, teaching at the MTC and I'm a Mormon

About Me

Hello, my name is Luke! I grew up in a small town called Richfield, and currently live in Provo studying Exercise Science at BYU. I returned from my mission in Nebraska about 3 years ago. I have three awesome older brothers, who I look up too very much. I have a younger brother (who returned from serving a mission in the Dominican Republic about 1 year ago) whom I look up too as well, and that's not just because he's half a foot taller than me. My little sister has five older brothers, poor girl, but she's well protected and attending Snow College for her freshman year. As you can tell I love my family very much! I also love to try new things. If you were to ask me, "what do you like to do?" I would answer you by saying, "well what don't I like to do, honestly!" I've done anything from Deep Sea Fishing in Alaska, to Skydiving in Southern Utah. I've been to Mexico, and have driven across the whole U.S. from California to New York, visiting amazing sites along the way! I love Long Boarding down smoothly paved asphalt, and snowboarding through freshly fallen powder. After my mission I was a teacher at the MTC (Missionary Training Center) for two years preparing other young men and women to help invite others to come unto Jesus Christ! I've enjoyed playing many sports throughout high school, I also played Rugby at Snow College and was on the BYU cheer team this last year... why? Because I love trying new things! So if you're a non-member try something new and get baptized maybe!

Why I am a Mormon

I was Baptized when I was 8 years of age, so that was officially when I became a Mormon. My Mom however, is a convert to the Church, she was baptized In Alaska when she was in her 20's! I am so thankful for her and my dad for raising me in this church! I have made some of my best friends in this church! I have felt so much love, peace, and joy from being a member of His Church, The Church of Jesus Christ! I have come to know personally that Jesus Christ is My Lord and Savior! That is why I am a Mormon!

How I live my faith

I currently live my Faith by continually looking out for others to serve, physically and spiritually. I spent two years serving the wonderful people of Nebraska and Iowa as a full-time missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints! I have been home from my mission for three years now and since then, I taught missionaries at the MTC (Missionary Training Center) for two years and helped them to prepare to Invite others to come unto Jesus Christ. I attend Brigham Young University and honestly try to be an example to everyone especially my family and friends, and I have seen God produce miracles in the lives of those I love. How do I live my Faith? I try everyday to be more like Jesus Christ.
