Hi I'm Cami

I am a mother of five children, I am a student, I am a military wife, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Southern Utah. My husband and children are my life. I love being a mother and a wife. My husband is Active Duty Air Force, so we have lived many places. I love that no matter where I live, the church is always there. I have amazing friends all over the world that will be my friends forever because we are united in Christ through church. My children are amazing and teach me something new every day. I have four daughters and one son who is right in the middle. We are an active family who likes to me outdoors playing sports, hiking, and going on picnics. We are an ETERNAL FAMILY. I love to be creative, so I sew, paint, draw, scrapbook, and all other Do It Yourself type projects. I received a Bachelors of Health Science focusing on Health and Wellness. I am finishing up a Masters in Mental Health Counseling. I am a big believer in natural healing, and there is a connection with our mind, body, and spirit.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints my whole life. I have never doubted being a member, and I hold strong to the covenants and ordinances that I have made. I love serving in the church, and enjoy each calling and its perspective lesson that I learn. The church to me is LOVE. We learn about our Heavenly Father's love for us, we learn about Jesus Christ's mission and of His love for us, we share love to one another because it is the greatest commandment. I know that this church is true and that I am blessed to be a part of it in this dispensation. The Lord blesses my life because of my obedience to his laws and commandments. My faith is what keeps me strong and moving forward in life. Because I am not perfect and am endlessly progressing, I will never stop learning and growing. As long as I put the Lord as a partner in my life, I will not fail. I know these things because I have been taught through my progenitors, church teachers and leaders, and through attending the house of the Lord. I am firm on staying worthy to enter the Lord's house because there I get to feel close to my Heavenly Parents and get a glimpse at my eternity. I am thankful for the scriptures and for being given them as knowledge of example, truth, and protection. I know that by reading them my spirit is fed and uplifted. Christ wants us to read and study his words so that we can become like Him, perfect. Along with my family, the Lord is my life, my light, my joy.

How I live my faith

I currently serve in the Young Women which is the organization for young women ages 12-18 to learn about our roles in life and in the gospel. My individual calling is getting these girls together to learn and grow from one another. By organizing and having activities, I have seen these girls unite, learn about their potential, learn about God's plan, learned how to take care of their family, and how to love one another. The Young Women's is a divine organization that will keep current and future homes and families safe from the adversary and trials of life. I also am steward over a few women in my neighborhood that I visit with in their home to recognize their needs and wants. This is a special time where I am able to give a lesson or thought that will uplift them and help them feel Christ's love and Spirit. Through this act of service, I have developed lifelong friendships. I have seen my service bring happiness, joy, comfort, peace, and safety to women and their families. By doing this I have been able to recognize Christ's example of service carried out through me.
