Hi I'm Tasha

The two things I always knew I wanted to be when I grew up was a mom and a Mormon. Now I am both.

About Me

I am a wife and the mom of four kids. I studied Spanish, business and art in college, mostly because I couldn't just choose one thing to study. There are so many things I want to learn about. I love playing sports, creating anything that is in my capacity to create, throwing parties for my family and friends and getting things in the mail that aren't junk or bills. Most of all I love my family. I have a great husband that I thank my Heavenly Father for him everyday. My three girls and new baby boy keep life exciting, fun, and ensure I get a work out. Maybe not a great workout but I definitely feel exhausted at the end of each day!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a mormon family but that is not why I am a mormon. I am a mormon because I know that being a mormon means that I am a member of my Heavenly Father's church and that it is not only true but contains truth in it's fullness. I will never forget that moment walking home from school through a quiet field in the small town I grew up in. I was twelve years old and I knew without a doubt at that moment that God not only knew who I was but that I was also his daughter and I was important to Him along with the rest of His children on the earth. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is His church and I feel so blessed to have it in my life.

How I live my faith

I love meeting new people and I visit other women in my church and neighborhood to build friendships and see what I can do to help them with things they need. It is great having lots of support and people to go to for advice or help as a mom with young children. I stay at home instead of working so that I can teach my children all about the world, right from wrong, help them with their problems and be there for every precious moment that makes being a mom so worth it. I know that the work I do in my home will have a far greater impact for good than anything I could do in the work force. I also stay at home so I can make our house a home and make sure my family is eating nutritious meals and learning the skills that will help them be successful when they go out on their own someday. Each day I pray and read from the scriptures. My husband and I also make sure we have a weekly date. These activities keep me and my marriage strong and give me the time I need to be a better parent and wife.
