Hi I'm Diane

I am a scrapbooker, mom, dog lover, full time employee, wife of a National Guard Soldier and I am Mormon.

About Me

I love photography, but just dont have that artful eye. So I scrapbook! I love the way I can turn to a book to see my family's life! Plus the fun of socializing and creating is very satisfying! My husband is in the National Guard, we have been able to meet many wonderful people and have many different experiences because of that. We have a dog, just one! But would love to have more! I am a mother! I love that job and hobby the most! Especially as time goes by! Which brings me back to photography and scrapbooking! Because of all of the previous statements, I can hold all those memories close to me!

Why I am a Mormon

Being Mormon for me just makes sense! My family is very important to me. Knowing I can be with my family forever, well..... that just gives me much peace! To know that I can be with my loved ones when I leave this mortal body brings me so much happiness and peace. I know that Heavenly Father loves me and forgives me of any wrong doings. When my children disappoint me, doesn't mean I don't love them. If anything, I love them even more, and because of that I know that our Father in Heaven loves us all.

How I live my faith

I have been involved in many positions in our church. I have mostly worked with children from the age of 18 months until 18 years old. I have worked with the women of our church. I have taught lessons on how to draw closer to Christ and our Heavenly Father, as well as have had fun socializing at dinners, lucheons, service projects, and so many more activities. Not only have I enjoyed the many friendships I have gained through this experience, I have also learned many useful traits. I am comfortable teaching in front of a large crowd. I can speak to an audience. I can organize an activity. I believe through this service I have been prepared for many opportunities and have been able to lead others in our local school, our military family group, and in professional areas. I also have learned fun things as well, how to cook certain foods/recipes. To crochet, knit, and quilt. To plant, and maintain a garden. All of these experiences have opened up new things to me, that I may have not ever had the opportunity to experience. I may not like all the foods I try I am pretty picky, and I really may not enjoy gardening, but at least I can say I have tried it! The best part about all of this is, the love and support not only I receive, but my entire family as well. I know if I should ever need help, little or very serious, I feel comfortable in knowing that I can and will receive whatever is needed.

What is faith?

For me faith is believing in something that I may not be able to prove that is there. For me it is giving trust in something or someone. If I choose to practice faith, it will give me peace when I am troubled or concerned. Faith is like a teddy bear for a child, it can be a source of comfort, security, joy, and peace!
