Hi I'm Deborah

I grew up in San Diego. I have a house full of boys and am totally outnumbered. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife and a mother to four energetic boys that always keep me on my toes. I love music but absolutely can not sing, trust me on that. I shop way too much and love to cook for my family and whoever else may need a helping hand. Oh, and I make a mean key lime pie!

Why I am a Mormon

My family and I are converts to the church. I grew up agnostic until a tragedy in my early twenties changed my world. During this time, Heavenly Father reached out to me and I received a testimony that he was real and that he loved me. However, it took me almost 10 years to find a church that I knew was true. Through an amazing string of events and people that came into our lives, we decided to call the missionaries ourselves. We knew very little about the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Days Saints and were not sure what would happen or how we would feel about what they had to say. I wasn't comfortable discussing my beliefs or faith since I wasn't raised that way but after the first meeting with them, we just knew. Two months later we were baptized. That one decision has changed our lives, our childrens lives and the lives of generations to come. I feel so fortunate to be able to see the way the Lord's hand has blessed us and continues to do so each and every day.

How I live my faith

I am lucky enough to have a calling with the primary children which gives me the wonderful chance to teach and work with three of my boys each Sunday. I try to live my faith each day by being kind to others and offering a helping hand wherever I can whether it is in big ways or small. I strive to be an example of our faith to others and to my children.
