Hi I'm Braden

and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

HI, I'm Braden. I grew up in Utah and am the second child of a family of four. If there is one thing I am passionate about, it's music. I play both the piano and the guitar and dabble in a few other instruments as well. I also enjoy the outdoors. I love camping, hiking, mountain biking, dirt biking, skiing both snow and water, and just being outdoors. I currently am attending school to get an undergrad in Physics and from there most likely going into medical. I also am planning on having a family of my own with a few kids. From there, who knows?

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of a few things. The first thing is because of the Book of Mormon. I have read both the Bible and the Book of Mormon and, having prayed to know that both are true, I received the same witness from the Spirit for both. The second continues off of the Book of Mormon. It has taught me so much about the Atonement of my Savior and, having that knowledge, have felt His love in my life in abundance. I had the opportunity to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Tampa, Florida, and I was able to see his Atoning sacrifice work in others as well. It was such a testimony to me to actually see people change their lives and their countenances when they could not have done it on their own. My testimony means the world to me because it means that I am never alone, the He is always with me, and that whenever I'm down, I know that's when He is the closest to me.

How I live my faith

The scriptures say that the two greatest commandments in the law are to love the Lord and to love our neighbors as ourselevs. I try to keep these two commandments through obedience and charity. The Lord says the way we love Him is to be obedient, and the way we love our neighbors is to serve them. My mission was the perfect opportunity to do both. I found that there really is no happiness like serving others, in any way that I can.
