Hi I'm Chris

I'm from Olympia. I like to draw and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a brother with four sisters. I like to draw and paint, plant things. I also enjoy reading good books.

Why I am a Mormon

I found by experience that I loved my Heavenly Father more and my savior Jesus Christ more as I read from the Book of Mormon and followed the direction of living prophets.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by following the example of Jesus Christ. Mostly my faith is expressed by the way I treat others.

Why do Mormon missionaries proselyte?

Because we believe that every person is a child of God and deserves the opertunity to hear the full Gospel of Jesus Christ. Show more Show less

What do Mormons believe about the nature of God?

God is our Loving Heavenly Father. We are his Children. Jesus is the Christ the savior and redeemer. The Holy Ghost is the third member of the Godhead. He teaches us truth through feelings in the heart. He gives feelings of peace joy and enlightens the minds of people who are willing to believe in Jesus Christ. He teaches us that Jesus is the Christ and that God is our Heavenly Father. Our Heavenly Father, our Savior Jesus Christ and the Holy Ghost are completely one in purpose. There wills are completely united - made one. They are separate Beings. God the Father has a body. So does the Son, but the Holy Ghost does not have a body. I personally learn more about who our Heavenly Father is by praying to Him and relying on the grace of Jesus Christ by praying in his name. God is holy and we need to rely on the grace of Jesus Christ to come to know Him. We receive Jesus Christ's grace on the condition of repentance. In this way we come to know God. I know that Jesus is the Christ and that God is our Heavenly Father and that the Holy Ghost testifies of truth and teaches us to live peaceably with each other and inspires us to believe in Christ. I write this in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen. Show more Show less
