Hi I'm Isaac

I'm a follower of Jesus Christ, and I'm a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

About Me

I am currently serving in the Kenya Nairobi Mission (aka Mission for Men) until May 2015. When I'm at home you can find me up in the mountains Snowboarding, Skiing, having fun. During the summer I try to find things to do that are active and exciting... like Mountain Biking, Skateboarding, Mountain Climbing, Shooting Shotguns, Etc..

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is a living Church, that continually warns and helps us prepare for the temptings of the world. I have found this church to be true.  Each day I learn more about it and it improves me as a person. Its Great!

How I live my faith

I meet with families around my house, talk to them and look for ways to serve them.

What is being a Mormon like?

Isaac
Life as a Mormon is Great! God gives us commandments so that He may bless our lives! In college I enjoy living high moral standards and staying away from certain activities common to others. I know our Father in Heaven wants us to be have joy and asks us to live a certain way. Be with good people, do good things! This encourages clean thoughts, creativity, teamwork, adventure, humility! We have joy by how we live and by loving one another, not by what we intake, or things we surround ourselves with. Following God's commandments keeps us in control, we stay clear of addictions and dependencies! Show more Show less

How are the activities of the Mormon missionaries funded?

Isaac
We volunteer to serve! We prepare and provide for ourselves. This requires great sacrifice. I remember my Dad's example; He had to sell his beloved Jeep Wrangler to cover costs. Because of College and family, he could not replace it for 30+ years! Show more Show less
