Hi I'm Trisch

I am a convert of almost 27 years and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a library paraprofessional at an elementary school. I love my job! This year my husband and I will celebrate 30 years of marriage. We have 3 terrific daughters together. He has 2 wonderful daughters from his first marriage. We have 3 super grandsons from his oldest daughter. I love to read, garden, crochet, make cards and crafting in general.

Why I am a Mormon

My husband and I are converts to the Church. When we were first married I was searching for something more in our life. I wanted to go to church and feel closer to God. We went to other churches but just didn't feel they were what we were looking for. I worked with a girl that was Mormon and we became friends with her and her husband. We weren't ready to go to church with them yet. I think we had some misconceptions of the Church. Later after they moved away, we developed another friendship with an older Latter Day Saint woman. She was very dear to us and one day told us how much fuller her life was because of the Church. She had been a convert and raised a family in the Church. She asked me if my husband and I would like to be taught by the missionaries. I agreed, and six weeks later we were baptized. We knew we were being taught the true gospel of Jesus Christ. I love the Church with all my heart. The Church has brought us so much joy. I love my Savior, Jesus Christ and know that through his atonement, I can live again with my Heavenly Father.

How I live my faith

Currently, I serve as the Nursery Leader class for 18mth -3yr children in my ward. I have also served in the women's organization, the young women's program and various other children's classes.
