Hi I'm Craig Parker

I love to fly fish, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My family and I recently moved from Maine to Washington. I am a husband to a beautiful wife and a father to two amazing daughters. I am a structural engineer by trade and an outdoors-man by dream.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents are members of the church and so I have been attending the LDS church my entire life. However, I consider myself a Mormon for more reasons than I have been attending my whole life. I have had many experiences, both difficult and wonderful, that have given me opportunities to make choices and the results of those choices are what make me a Mormon. When I have followed the guidance of Holy Ghost and the teachings of the Savior I have felt the true happiness that I seek. I am so grateful for my relationship with my Heavenly Father. My relationship with Heavenly Father is strengthened and cultivated through my membership in the Mormon church.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by focusing on my relationship with my Heavenly Father and avoiding the constant distractions to that focus. I strive to see people as children of God and as such deserving of my kindness and help, whether I want to offer it or not. I have many faults, and yet I try not to let those faults stop me from becoming better than I was the day before.
