Hi I'm Chandis Jade

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hello I'm Chandis. I am a college Sophomore. I have recently switched my major from psychology to interior Design and Photography. I hope to one day be involved in event coordinating and wedding planning! I love to spend time with other people. I love my family. I enjoy attending the temple as often as possible. I also have a passion for running. I am so grateful for the opportunities I have in this life to grow and progress.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because I have seen the power of my Saviors infinite atonement in my life and especially in the lives of people around me. I have felt the influences of the Holy Spirit testifying to me of the truthfulness of this Gospel. I understand that the gospel is not the easy route through this life. It's hard, and it can be challenging to be set apart from the world, to be scorned, mocked, or laughed at for your standard. But I know, though this life is hard, the gospel makes the challenges we face in this life much easier, because I have that knowledge that I do not walk this path alone. My Heavenly Father is with me, bearing my burdens, and supporting me every step of the way.

How I live my faith

President George Albert Smith said this speaking of charity and service: "This is our Father's work. It is the most important thing that we will be identified with in this life." I have a strong testimony in a positive attitude and an uplifting word. Often we feel service and charity needs to be this grand carried out project, but I feel that we can often do people more of a service by simply being kind, positive, and uplifting. I know that the light of Christ will shine through your positive countenance and this will stand out against the gloom and pains of the world. People will take notice and those who may be seeking for truth will reach out to you and ask for you to give reason for the light and hope that is within you. The reason for my light and hope is My loving Savior, Jesus Christ, and his infinite atonement. I strive every day to be the best me I can be, I know at the end of every day, I did great in some areas, and lacked in others, but I can come to my father in prayer EVERYDAY with the resolve to just be a little bit better. That is how I live my faith, by trying, day in and day out.
