Hi I'm Pam

I'm an artist, a teacher, a daughter, a sister, a mother, a grandmother, a friend and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the oldest of 8 children the mother of 4 children 3 sons and a daughter and Nana to 9 grandchildren. I paint, do ceramics, beadwork, sew, and embroider. I love to read, enjoy most genres of music and I spend as much time as possible doing things that allow me to be creative. A recent chronic illness has left me disabled, many days doing what I love to do is difficult. My current journey is about redefining who I am without my disability, and adversity being the definition.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church as were many generations of my family. I spent many years inactive and reactivated when my 3 year old grandson informed me he wanted to go to his church. I am a Mormon today because I have a testimony of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and of the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon. I know, of myself, independent of any other person that the fulness of the gospel has been restored to the earth. I know that Jesus Christ lives and that he loves each and every one of us deeply and more profoundly than we can comprehend.

How I live my faith

I work with the young children of the church and believe that what I teach by example is almost more important than what I teach by the spoken word. I wish I could say that my example is perfect, however, I am a work in progress. I do my best to always live in such a way that if the children in my stewardship were to see my actions, there would be no doubt that I am doing my best to follow the example of the Savior.
