Hi I'm Lorin

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a Father of 5 children, and I work in Law Enforcement. My wife and I have been married for 23 years. I love to be outdoors, do photography, flyfish, and be with my family. I have a B.S. in Psychology and Criminal Justice, and a Masters Degree in Organizational Management. I have lived in 6 states including Utah, Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, Ohio and Tennessee. My Father comes from a long American Heritage, and my Mother is from South Wales, GB and came to America when she was 22.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because this Church has given me the knowledge of who I am in relationship to Heavenly Father. I am his son I am a son of God. I learned and know he lives and that he loved me enough to provide a Savior to provide a way to return and live with him. I am a Mormon, and because of that I know who I am. His Son.

How I live my faith

I have been able to serve in many positions in my Church. I have served with the Young Mens's Organization as well as with both Cub and Boy Scouting. I have served in the Men's organization and in local and larger area Stake Leadership postions.

What do Mormons believe about the nature of God?

We believe that God the Father and his Son Jesus Christ are two seperate individuals with physical bodies. That thier appearance is human, and that we are literally crated in their image. We believe that the Holy Ghost is a third person with a body of spirit without a physicaal body. This is what we call the God Head, each member is a seperate individual.  Show more Show less
