Hi I'm Colin

I'm from a small town. I'm a missionary. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Currently I'm serving a mission in the California Sacramento Mission. I'm from BeaUTAHful Loa, Utah. Love sports and talking to people!  I grew up in a tiny town is South-Central Utah. Born in SLC and was born with sports blood. Music is my life! Without music i couldn't function. I love playing the guitar and piano. Without sports, music, my family and this gospel i could not function!

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because through the gospel I have learned why I'm here on earth, where I came from, and where I will go after this life. It's through the Gospel of Jesus Christ that I know without a doubt that Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior and died for my sins. Through the Gospel I am given a sense of direction and standards to live by. I am Mormon because I know it is true!

How I live my faith

At this point how i live my faith is by being a Missionary and serving my Lord and Savior. It is something that we all should do but is something I have been called and set apart to do. Sharing the Gospel is something that brings me greater joy than anything else in this life.

What is a “testimony” that Mormons speak of?

A Testimony is simply what you know to be true. It often get complicated by ourselves but it is basically what we know to be true. "I know this Church is true and the Book of Mormon is scripture from God." Is basically what a testimony is. Show more Show less

Why is authority to perform a baptism important?

The authority to perform baptism is important because it's like getting hired for a job by someone who isn't really a manager. The manager is one who has the "right" you could say to hire someone and that is like the Priesthood. You can't just have anyone do it. You have to have it done by the right authority. The authority to perform baptism was taken off the earth after the death of Jesus Christ and the Apostles, but was restored to the earth through Joseph Smith. Show more Show less

Are Mormons Christians?

Most definitely "Mormon's" are Christians. Our full church name, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Bears the Saviors name. We believe that Christ is our Lord and Savior. We believe that he died for all of us and because of him we can be forgiven of any wrong doing. Show more Show less

What are some things that tell you there is a God?

Some things that tell me personally that there is a God is the fact that i am here right now. I most definitely didn't evolve from some monkey. We are all God's children and he loves us all equally as a Father to a Son. The Bible and Book of Mormon testify countless times of there being a God. God lives and loves us and Jesus Christ is the son of God and my brother. Show more Show less
