Hi I'm Bianca

I love being outside. I love to run. I love learning. My favorite color is orange. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've finished my undergrad and am about to start law school, which is exciting and terrifying all at the same time. I know education is important and I want a law degree to open more doors so I can help others. I am from a small family of 4, with one younger sister. My family is everything to me. I hope one day I will have my own family and be able to see them grow and help others. I love to be outside, running and swimming are my favorite sports. I like to travel and see the amazing places this world has to offer, but my favorite thing about traveling is the people I meet on a bus, at a hostel, in the airport. I love learning about other people's lives, their stories and how they got to where they are now.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm Mormon because I want to be. Yes, I grew up in this faith, but I never felt forced to follow it. I'm Mormon because I've seen the Gospel of Jesus Christ improve my life and others and I know that this is the path to follow. It helps me know my place in the world, my purpose and how I can overcome my shortcomings. I'm Mormon because it makes me happy. I know that there is a God who loves me and wants me to be happy. He has a plan for me. I have direction.

How I live my faith

Recently, I returned from a full time volunteer mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. This experience was incredible and gave me a goal of how I want to live the rest of my life. Each day I try to look for someone to say hi to, someone who might need a friendly face. I stopped worrying about who is going to say hi to me, and who is going to befriend me because that was not bringing me happiness. There are people out there that God has placed in our path for us to help. It could be the beginning of a lifelong friendship or it could be a short conversation with a stranger you never see again. We don't always know the impact our actions make, but it matters that we try. I simply try to follow the example of Jesus Christ and sincerely act as He would in a situation. It has made all the difference in my life.
