Hi I'm Blake

I'm from Utah and love it. I enjoy the outdoors(the mountins). I don't yet know what "I want to be when I grow up" I'm a Mormon

About Me

My name is Blake, my friends call me Blake. I was born and raised in Sandy Utah. When I'm not on Mormon.org I enjoy watching, and sometimes even playing sports. "basketball is my favorite sport, I like the way they dribble up and down the court" -A.C. I also love art. Bob Ross is my hero. Someday in the not so far future, I plan on painting a Bob Ross styled painting; happy little trees and all. I lived in Sandy the first 19 years of my life and loved every moment of it. My favorite part of Utah are the mountains. Camping, hiking, fishing, and all that good stuff. For the past year I've lived in the Twin Cities. I like it so much I just might stay another year. I love my family. I love life. I AM A MORMON

Why I am a Mormon

I knew that the church was true before i knew that i knew it was true. One of the reasons I can say I know it's true is because I've lived it. I try to keep the commandments that God has given us, read the scriptures that He has provided for us, and worship Him at church each Sunday. That is when I'm the happiest. Sometimes I get lazy. I start doing my own thing, rather than living the gospel to the fullest. When that happens I feel something missing, I don't feel the same joy that comes with Christ's gospel. That shows me this Church must be true. God loves me and wants me to feel the joy that comes along with being a part of His church. He loves you the same way. If you don't know The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is true, then just test it for yourself. Try living the gospel and feel this joy that you can't get any other way.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith by actually living my faith. It is who I am. From the music i listen to (or don't listen to), to the books i read. It is important to me be be the same person 7 days a week. I live the christian values (or at least try my best) every day. Not just for a few hours each Sunday, but consistently throughout the week. I have many imperfections. I know that if I do my part, through Christ, I can become better and "live my faith" a little better each day. I read from the Book of Mormon and/or the Bible each day. In order to live my faith I must know my faith. I am also serving a full time mission, teaching others about Christ's gospel. It is a great blessing in my life.

Why is family so important to Mormons?

Blake
Families are gifts from God. He has placed us in our specific familis for a reason. They teach us how to be good people. My family is important to me because i know we can be together forever. Show more Show less
