Hi I'm Danny

I'm a grad student, I work in orthotics and prosthetics, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I like building, fixing, and helping so I'm going to school while loving my family. I'm studying to obtain a masters of science degree in orthotics and prosthetics. It has been a blast to follow my passion. Even more important than this passion is my family. Right now I am part of a family of two, and I've been happily married since December 2010. My wife is my best friend and the greatest advocate I could ask for.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was young, I was taught by my great parents. They brought me to church, read the scriptures with me, and taught me to pray. My family taught me what it means to be a Mormon- it means to have integrity, to have faith, to sacrifice for others, and to be dedicated to following prophets of God. I do this by going to church, and keeping the commandments, serving. I feel hope in my life and a connection with God when I do this- I want to always feel this way, and that's why I strive to live my faith.

How I live my faith

I hope that I can serve people with my faith in Jesus Christ. I live my faith in how I treat my Heavenly Father, my family, and my community. Scripture study, prayer, and living my standards teaches me to be kind and honest. I go to church, visit people on a regular basis to see how they are doing, help take care of a nursery class, and try to be a good person. I like to smile for people, work hard in school, make time to go to activities with my wife, and fix things around the house.
