Hi I'm Steve

I'm a 47 year old craftsman and artist. I enjoy my work in Aerospace structures, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a single convert to the church. A Father of two young adult children. I'm an aircraft mechanic and I desire to express myself through artistic and creative attributes. My goal in life is to create an atmosphere where the spirit can be felt and inspire my brothers and sisters here on earth.

Why I am a Mormon

I have a very curious and questioning nature and I've been lucky to have traveled much and known people all over this world. I have an appetite for new experience, knowledge, and cultures. I'm a Mormon because nothing has ever inspired my heart so beautifully and my mind so intensely all at once as the "Fullness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ" which I find to be taught only in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Faith and prayer for me go hand in hand with intelligent study and pondering. The workings of the Heavens, the forces of nature, as well as the structure of a molecule are proof to me that our creator wanted us to ask how and why. For me Faith comes at the point when when I don't have the answer, when I'm scared, when I'm weak and can't continue on my own. Faith is what causes me to keep Living, Loving and Giving. I have found every loving and intelligent reason to have faith that the Book of Mormon is - like the Bible - the true word of God. That God chose to restore his church on the earth through the faith of a 14 year old boy who Loved even the idea of the Savior, and listened to the promptings of the Holy Spirit enough to follow the teachings of James 1:5 "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God". The reward of Faith and diligence in seeking answers to such important questions? You'll have to experience that for yourself. I can only tell you it's completely wonderful.

How I live my faith

I've always been interested in, so I naturally tend to speak about Spirituality, Heavenly Father, and or the Savior. It just seems to happen. I have quite a lot of varied life experience and I believe I've been preserved from some pretty serious situations so that I could have a story and testimony that relates easily to a variety of people; though probably more-so to those who've made a lot of mistakes or lived difficult lives. I was told once by a friend that I'm the poster boy for second chances (By second chances he really meant 3rd, 4th, 5th, etc...) I'm the guy who will speak up. Heavenly Father knows that and uses it. The funny thing is that I have a - sometimes quite sever - stutter. Never-the-less I have always been the guy who would say the difficult thing, the unpopular thing, the truth. That quality has not always served me well, but through "His" wisdom and Will it now is. I want to be living evidence that by following the gospel of Jesus Christ weak things can be made strong.
