Hi I'm Stephanie

I'm a sister, daughter, and friend. I'm an actress. I'm an activist. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a 21 year old graduate in the Boston area. I'm a member of a sorority, and a passionate volunteer. I love baking, crafts, and movies. I'm a political thinking, social media wizard, and obsessive blogger. I love to run, travel and read. I am active in the theater community. And in my free time I enjoy singing with my Yiddish community chorus for social justice.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of what renewed faith has meant in my life. I was raised in the church, but consider myself a recent convert. Everyone has struggles with faith. I love this gospel because of the strength it gives me to live my life morally every day. I have a strong testimony of the Holy Ghost and its ability to bear witness to each and every one of us. I know that through this gospel we can build eternal families and that is such a comfort and a blessing to know that I can be with the people I love for time and all eternity. The power of prayer is so very real in our lives and through our faith our Father in Heaven will show his love for us if we choose to live his plan and ask for his guidance in our daily lives. My testimony means that no matter what, I have the blessings of prayer and repentance to bring me back into his kingdom and that is a comfort that everyone should know.

How I live my faith

I have the best church family I could imagine. I live across the country from my real family, so the church has become my home away from home. There is a small group of Mormons at my college and in my community that help remind me to live each day righteously. Weekly, we gather for a night with our school 'family' for Family Home Evening. It is an opportunity for us to share spiritual thoughts, learn from each other and stay connected to one another. We also attend weekly religious education classes together and always have dinners together. I know that without the beautiful people in this church my testimony would not be as strong and that the Lord has taken the time to bless us with important people in our lives to guide us and love us. I'm so proud to share this gospel with my friends because I know what a sense of love and peace the people in the church can bring.
