Hi I'm Jesse

I grew up in Riverton, UT. I Love Music. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have always Loved music in School. I play the Euphonium (basically a mini Tuba) and the Bass Guitar. I've been in Marching Bands, Ska Bands, Jazz Bands, Symphonic Bands, and even Drum Corps International. I played in Blue Devils Drum & Bugle Corps competing against other Corps from around the Nation until eventually winning the World Championship.

Why I am a Mormon

Early on in my life I was looking for happiness. I was blessed to have parents who where members of the church. Who taught me the gospel, I didnt really understand or fully live it until later on in my teenage years. Before I just kinda went with the flow did what my friends did thinking that thats how I would find happiness. I never found it just doing what people deemed cool or normal. All things that made me truly happy in life happened at the church or at church activities and time with my family. It finally dawned on me that I could have this happiness all the time I just knew I had to make the church a part of my life. Thats when I knew that it wasnt just something optional. If I wanted to have that happiness I needed to stop going through the motions and live it. As I did with the help of my family I felt happy and peaceful inside. As I continued to live it I came to realize what Gods plan for us really means and that we really do have the oppourtunity to have joy in this life. I learned how we can axcess the Atonement of Christ and repent of whatever sins we have commited and recieve forgiveness. Its something so special to me to know of these things. I know they are true cause I prayed and asked God if this church is true and if the Book of Mormon is true and the Holy Ghost witnessed unto me the truthfulness of them. I am a Mormon because the Spirit has spoken peace and truth to my soul and I cannot deny it.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by striving to render service to others. I am currently out on a mission up North. I try every day to do what the Savior would and be a helping hand to those in need. I am not a perfect person though but I know as I continue to pray and study the scriptures that the lord will make my weaknesses strong. I try to give my whole self to the Lord I try my best to serve the people of the south as he would.
