Hi I'm Elizabeth Jacobs

I grew up in North Carolina. I graduated from BYU-Idaho. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love anything that is beautiful! I'm a preschool teacher and a Pinterest advocate. I love spending time with my friends, watching funny Youtube videos, cooking and singing (even though I'm not the greatest at either of those). I graduated from BYU-Idaho about a year ago and miss it so much. Currently just received my mission call to serve in the California Bakersfield Mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I report next week!! So nervous and excited. I love people and I don't have any exciting talents or hobbies to share. I'm just your average person trying to live my life the best I can.

Why I am a Mormon

I didn't realize growing up that I was any different that anyone else as far as a religion goes. I thought that all churches were the same. Then a friend invited me to attend church with her one night and I realized that I felt different there. Like I didn't belong. As I've spent the last almost 20 years being a Mormon I have had many struggles, but I'm grateful to also be able to say that with support from other Mormons and people who aren't I overcame them. The Gospel of Jesus Christ has brought unmeasured happiness into my life. To that He takes time to care for me is humbling and gratifying. I love Him and I know this is what He wants me to do...to be a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I serve the women on our branch as a leader in organizing meetings and activities. I help get to know the people and try to help fill their needs and answer questions they might have. I work with others to invite all people to come come to our activities because it is always fun to have more people to get know and share fun times with.
