Hi I'm Andrew

I'm a family man, student, and mountains are my playground. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I figuratively wear a lot of hats right now. I am a husband, father, med student, try to be an athlete, and an active member of the Church. I have always had a love of science and a desire to help others. A career in medicine was right up my ally, though it took a long time for me to realize it. Once I stepped into med school I haven't looked back. I have skied all my life and when the snow is gone it's time to get out the mtn bike and get dirty. If the trails are not prime then it's time to climb or hike the un-ride-able.

Why I am a Mormon

I went through some tough times when I was really young and the gospel of Jesus Christ has given me hope and direction in what I thought was a life of unpredictability and heartbreak. My father died when I was 7 and I didn't understand what death was all about until someone showed me the Book of Mormon. One simple verse gave my young mind an explanation and a hope that I would see my dad again Alma 40, 11-12. Now through much study and prayer I know I will. I have felt comfort, security, and strength through prayer and scripture study through all the tough times of my life. The consistency of the gospel, in this forever changing world, is the life line I need to make it to the end. This is why I am a Mormon

How I live my faith

I am able to live my faith in a lot of different ways. First I am able to love my family and work together to make our home and relationships a refuge and a fun place to be. I also am able to help each week with sunday meetings and record keeping of happenings in our ward. I also strive to live each day with a Christ-like attitude towards anyone I meet. I know I am not perfect at any of this but with the hope of the gospel it is worth doing my best.
