Hi I'm Julie

I am a full time mom and wife. I am a sports and food lover and rarely without a book. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

With 2 small children to chase around I seem to fill my day with children's games, activities, and Nickelodeon; but I find time to do some of the things I love such as reading, cooking, and lately trying to work on my lastest quilting project. I have a wonderful husband that loves and supports me and I still marvel at how lucky I am to have married him. I love sports and graduated with a degree in Physical Education and Coaching. I love trying to cook and create in the kitchen because my husband and his family are know for being "food snobs" and I am going to impress them someday.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have felt the overwhelming love of our Heavenly Father through living His Gospel. I have a testimony of My Savior Jesus Christ and of His sacrifice for us. I am a Mormon because I want to be with my family forever and I know that is possible through the wonderful blessings of the temple. I am a Mormon because I am not perfect but know that when I am at church I am surrounded by people who care about me and want to help me be a better person. I am a Mormon because it makes me HAPPY.

How I live my faith

How I live my faith has changed over the years, from attending early morning church classes before high school started, to preaching the gospel full time in Uruguay for 18 months, to now trying to raise kind children and have a Christ centered home. In my local church I work with the young women of our ward, specifically the 12 and 13 year olds. I love the young womens program and love how it encouranges the girls to pattern their lives after our Savior.
